JM PAT Testing are City and Guilds Certified, we use a SmartPat Tester making it efficient for both you and JM PAT Testing keeping costs low but providing the best service.

 

JM PAT Testing complies with the new IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology) 5th Edition code of practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

We also understand the requirements of businesses and the need to keep operating at maximum efficiencies without any disruption, so we at JM PAT Testing can provide an out of hours service, if out of hours service isn't for you then we can work with you to plan our work around your needs.

​

We recommend that most appliances are tested every 6-12 months, however as the duty holder (responsible person) this may differ to that found from a risk assessment and could be up to 2 to 3 years on inspections and tests.

Tiny Service

0-10 Items

Small Service

10-30 Items

•   3.5 hours but not limited to.

•   All fuses included.

•   First Plug change for free. Additional Plug changes @ £5 Each

•   All relevant PAT documents to be included sent via Email.

•   Free Site visit prior, to count your items and discuss any other information. Upon Request

30-50 Items

•   5.5 hours but not limited to.

•   All fuses included.

•   First Plug change for free. Additional Plug changes @ £5 Each.

•   All relevant PAT documents to be included sent via Email.

50-100 Items

​

•   8.5 hours but not limited to.

•  All fuses included.

•   First Plug change for free. Additional Plug changes @ £5 Each.

•   All relevant PAT documents to be included, sent via Email.

•   Extra items @ £1 per item

•   Free Site visit prior, to count your items and discuss any other information. Upon Request

Mega Service

500+ Items

​

•   Hours quoted based on number of items require testing.

•   All fuses included.

•   First Plug change for free. Additional Plug changes @ £5 Each.

•   All relevant PAT documents to be included, sent via Email.

•   Extra items @ £1.00 per item.

•   Free Site visit prior, to count your items and discuss any other information. Upon Request.

Inter Service

 Formal Inspection Only

•   0.5 hours per 10 items.

•   All fuses included.

•   All relevant PAT documents to be included sent via Email. 

 

Plug changes @ £5 Each.

We at JM PAT Testing do not believe in hidden costs. Below is a list of extras... if required these will be explained prior to any work or replacement. 

Plugs

Plug (White) replacement £5.00

Plug (Black) replacement £8.00

Fuse replacement 0.50p

Microwave Leakage Test £5.00

Flex Lead replacements quoted per replacement as required.

Jobs within15miles from the postcode CV31 are free, any additional miles is charged at 0.60p per mile, this will be quoted before any work is confirmed and agreed by both parties.
